Sales Commission Based On Target
Want to provide commission to salesman/salesperson for specific product & product categories? The "Sales
Commission Based On Target "module allows you to pay sales commission based on the targets you set for
each salesperson. In the
target-based commission method, the salesman is provided with a range of targets after achieving those
ranges the salesman entitled for the commission set up by the company. You can set the commission based
on the product or product
category. You can apply target on the amount as well as on a quantity basis. You can calculate the
commission in 2 ways,
1) Based On Amount: That means commission calculate based on fixed amount.
2) Based On Percentage:
Here the commission calculated based on the 2 factors,
A) Percentage On Sales Amount: The commission will be calculated based on the percentage of sales
amount.
B) Percentage On Collection Amount: The commission will be calculated based on the percentage of
the collection amount.

Go To User Setting And Tick Allow Sale Commision Target.
Go to sales => target & commission.
The target-based commission form view looks like this,
You can set the commission based on the product or product category.
1) Based On Amount: That means commission calculate based on fixed amount.
2) Based On Percentage: Here the commission calculated based on the 2 factors,
A) Percentage On Sales Amount: The commission will be calculated based on
the percentage of sales amount.
B) Percentage On Collection Amount: The commission will be calculated based
on the percentage of the collection amount.
In the "Target & Commission" tab you have to set sales target, collection target &
commission.
Sales Target Achieved & Collection Target Achieved tickboxes auto-fill once a target is
complete.
In the "Settlement" tab it calculates and shows commission based on configuration. Achieved & Remaining sales target, Achieved & Remaining collection target.
Now we create a quotation/sale order.
When a quotation/sale order is created you can see how much your "Achieved & Remaining Sales Target" is.
Now generate invoice/bill.
You can see how much your "Achieved & Remaining Sales & Collection Target" is.
You Can Create Bill of Commision amount need to pay to Your Sale Person by Using Create Bill Button.
The Created Bill will look like this.
Access the Sales Commission Dashboard through the Commission Dashboard menu.
View the overall Sales Commission Dashboard displaying key KPI indicators like Total Targets, Targets Achieved, Total Commission Paid, and Pending Bills.
Clicking on the Total Target tile from the dashboard will open a list of all targets and their corresponding commissions.
Click on target achieved tile from the dashboard to view the list of achieved targets.
Clicking on the Target Achieved tile from the dashboard will open a list of achieved targets.
Click on total paid tile from the dashboard to view the list of paid commissions with details.
Clicking on the Total Paid tile from the dashboard will open a list of all paid commissions.
Click on pending bills tile from the dashboard to view the list of pending bills for commission payments.
Clicking on the Pending Bills tile from the dashboard will open a list of all pending bills.
Analyze the 'Recent Targets Activity' table displaying information on Salesperson, Target Type, Period, Progress, and Status.
View interactive charts showing the Top Salespersons by Commission, Product vs Category target types, and Target Achievement Ratio.
Enable the 'Apply Max Commission Cap?' option and specify a 'Max Commission Limit' on the Target Commission configuration form.
Click the 'Create Bill' button when the calculated commission amount exceeds the max allowed limit.
A Commission Cap Warning wizard popup appears, asking the user to either 'Full Commission' or 'Cap Commission'.
Select the Cap (Pay Max Allowed) option inside the warning wizard to proceed with bill creation.
The generated vendor bill will apply the maximum cap limit as the unit price for the commission line.
Confirm the chosen option inside the warning wizard to proceed with bill creation.
The generated vendor bill will apply the Full amount as the unit price for the commission line.
Navigate to the Sales Commission Report menu and Commision report wizard will open.
Open the Commission Report wizard and select 'Salesperson' under 'Report By'. Also, configure the filters for Salesperson, From Date, and To Date.
Click on 'View' to see the matching commission targets list with date ranges, salesperson name, target name, and commission amount details.
View the list of commission reports showing calculated commission totals.
Click 'Print PDF' to generate and download a detailed PDF copy of the commission report.

Click 'Print XLS' to download the commission report as an Excel/XLS spreadsheet.
View the generated Excel/XLS worksheet with columns for Date, Salesperson, Target Name, and Commission Amount.
Select 'Invoice' under 'Report By' option to run the report based on invoice details. Select a specific Sale Order; the related Customer Invoice is auto-populated.
Click 'View' to list the corresponding commission records related to that specific sale order/invoice.
View the list of corresponding commission records related to that specific sale order/invoice.
Click 'Print PDF' to generate and download a detailed PDF copy of the commission report.
