Partner Custom Fields

This module is useful for creating dynamic fields in partners/customers/suppliers without requiring any technical knowledge. Simply specify the basic elements and fields to be added in the form view.

Features

Easy to add a custom tab and field in the Partner Form View.
Easy to specify the position of fields.
Multiple field types are available.
The widget is also provided for many-to-one and many-to-many fields.
Selection widget for many-to-one field.
Radio widget for a selection field.
Phone, URL, email widget for character fields.
Image widget for binary fields.
Tags or checkboxes widget for many-to-many fields.
Easy to edit or delete any fields.
Easy to grant access to fields for specific groups.
Many To Many: Binary widget added (Binary widget is useful for attaching more than one file).
Float Time: Float time widget added to track time (hours: minutes).
Text: HTML widget added, which will be useful for creating an HTML interface in the text field.
Priority: This feature is added to provide a priority view.
Domain: This feature is added for many-to-one and many-to-many fields. This will help you filter records of the selected model. For example, if you have selected the 'Contacts' model and you want to filter only 'customers', you can easily do this using this feature.
Checkboxes: This feature is added to select multiple values from the model. In this, you will see all options with checkboxes, and you can select multiple items.

Set access rights to allow adding custom fields within the partner.

Click on the 'Add Custom Field' and 'Add Custom Tab' buttons to add a new field and tab in the partner form view.

After clicking that button, a wizard will pop up where you can set the tab name, label, groups, tab, and position, and then click 'Create Tab'.

The 'Other Info' tab has been created.

To add a field in the custom tab, click 'Add custom field,' enter the field name, label, type, select the tab (Other Info), and click 'Create field.'

A boolean custom field has been added to the form.

You can only select either the tab or the position for fields.

The binary widget has been added. (The binary widget is useful for attaching more than one attachment.)

Set the type as 'char' and the widget as 'email'.

The 'char' field with the 'email' widget has been added to the form.

Set the type to 'char' and the widget to 'phone'.

The char field with the "phone" widget has been added to the form.

Set the type to 'char' and the widget to 'URL'.

The char field with the "URL" widget has been added to the form.

The date field has been set to 'True'.

Date field added.

Datetime field is set to 'True'.

A datetime field has been added to the form.

Float: A float time widget has been added to track time in hours and minutes.

An HTML type has been added, which will be useful for obtaining an HTML interface.

Many-to-many fields with the model and widget, and access rights set for the given group.

Many-to-Many Feature: This new feature has been added for many-to-many fields. It enables you to filter records within the selected model. For instance, if you've chosen the 'Contacts' model and want to filter only customers, you can easily achieve this using this feature.

Checkboxes: This feature has been added to allow the selection of multiple values from the model. When using this feature, you will see a list of all available options with checkboxes that can be ticked to select multiple items.
