The TaxJar Dashboard provides an overview of Categories, Nexus States, Customers, Synced Invoices, and Synced Refunds, helping users monitor and manage TaxJar synchronization activities efficiently.
Also includes charts for Sync Activity (Last 7 Days) and Global Success Ratio.


The TaxJar Dashboard also displays an Official Summary Tax Rate by Region chart and a Recent Tax History table.


Clicking on the Categories, Nexus States, Customers, Synced Invoices, or Synced Refunds tiles from the TaxJar Dashboard will open the corresponding data view, allowing users to review and manage the related records.


Clicking on the Categories tile from the TaxJar Dashboard will open the Categories List View, displaying all synchronized tax categories.


Enable 'Taxjar Manager' for the taxjar user.

Now goto taxjar dashboard and goto the Account --> Taxjar Api --> Copy Taxjar API Token.


After adding Taxjar API Token and selecting company just click on 'Test Connection'.


After connection succefuly setup, two buttons are visible 'Import States' and 'Import Categories'. Also state change to 'Done'.


After click on 'Import Categories' you can see the imported categories list in 'Categories' menu.


In Taxjar define your nexus states.


After click on 'Import State' you can see your nexus state are imported.


Now, goto in invoice configuration --> Fiscal Positions. Here create a fiscal position for taxjar.


In inventory, just set the taxjar categories into your product categories.


Goto the product and define the taxjar category.


Make sure your customer address, city, state and pin code is correct. And define 'Taxjar Exempt Type' and 'Fiscal Position' as well.


Now make a sale order for the customer and while you selecting the product it will add tax automatically based on the customer state. After invoice is created suucessfully you can see the taxjar id in the chatter for that invoice.

Create a credit note for the invoice and you can see the taxjar id in the chatter.

Delete customer invoice entries odoo to taxjar.


Go to TaxJar -> Configuration -> Scheduled Auto Sync Cron, and enable the Auto Sync Nexus States option to automatically synchronize nexus states at scheduled intervals.


The TaxJar Auto Sync Nexus States scheduled action automatically synchronizes Nexus States from TaxJar at predefined intervals, ensuring that nexus state information remains up to date within the system.


Go to TaxJar -> Configuration -> Scheduled Auto Sync Cron and enable the Auto Sync Summary Rates option to automatically synchronize summary tax rates at scheduled intervals.


The TaxJar Auto Sync Summary Rates scheduled action automatically synchronizes the latest summary tax rates from TaxJar based on the configured schedule.


Go to TaxJar -> Configuration -> Scheduled Auto Sync Cron and enable the Auto Sync Categories option to automatically synchronize tax categories from TaxJar at scheduled intervals.


The TaxJar Auto Sync Categories scheduled action automatically synchronizes tax categories from TaxJar at predefined intervals, ensuring that category data remains up to date within the system.


The Sync Log History can be viewed from the Sync Log History menu, where users can review detailed records of all synchronization activities.


The Sync Log History can be viewed from TaxJar -> Configuration -> Sync Log History, where users can review detailed synchronization logs.


Users can select multiple invoices from the Invoices List View and choose Export to TaxJar from the Actions menu to synchronize the selected invoices with TaxJar in bulk.


Create a Draft Invoice and add the required product lines with their corresponding quantities and amounts.


Update the invoice amount as required, Post the invoice, and then click the Sync to TaxJar button from the invoice form to synchronize the updated transaction with TaxJar.


Users can view the TaxJar transaction creation log in the invoice Chatter, including the Transaction ID generated by TaxJar after successful synchronization.


The invoice has been successfully created in TaxJar with amount.


Go to TaxJar -> Configuration -> Transactions and enable the Export Transaction option to allow transaction data to be exported and synchronized with TaxJar.


Go to TaxJar -> Configuration -> Transactions and enable the Auto Sync Pending Transactions option to automatically synchronize pending transactions with TaxJar at scheduled intervals.


The Auto Sync Pending Transactions scheduled action automatically synchronizes all pending transactions with TaxJar.


Click the Reset to Draft button on the Posted Invoice to revert the invoice back to the Draft state.


Users can view the Invoice Deleted from TaxJar log entry in the invoice Chatter, providing a record of the deletion action and synchronization status.


The TaxJar Transactions View displays all synchronized transaction records.


Open the Customer Form View and add the required Customer Address details.


The customer has been successfully added to TaxJar along with the configured address details.


Update the Customer Address from the Customer Form View in Odoo.


The updated Customer Address in Odoo will also be synchronized and updated in TaxJar, ensuring that customer information remains consistent across both systems.


Delete the Contact from Odoo to remove the customer record from the system.


The contact will be deleted from Odoo and, upon successful synchronization, the corresponding customer record will also be deleted from TaxJar.


Click the Import Summary Rates button from TaxJar -> Configuration to import the latest summary tax rates from TaxJar into Odoo.


The Imported Summary Rates logs can be viewed from TaxJar -> Configuration -> Sync Log History,


The Imported Summary Rate Report displays all imported summary tax rates from TaxJar, allowing users to review tax rate details by region, and state.
