Open the cancel reasons from the sales configuration menu.

After that, the cancel sales order wizard will be displayed. Add reason and then select the 'Cancel Order' button.
The sales order has been successfully cancelled.
The cancel order details are in the ‘Other Info’ tab.
The sent email can also be visible within the chatter.
